Union Contacts
Local Union 1 has a long history of supporting sheet metal workers across central Illinois, with roots dating back to the earliest days of the organized trade. Since its founding in the late 1800s, the union has played an important role in strengthening the sheet metal industry and promoting unity among skilled tradespeople. Today, Local 1 serves ten counties and represents more than 700 members, including journeymen, apprentices, and retirees. The union contacts listed below help guide the organization, support members, and ensure the continued success of the Local 1 training and apprenticeship programs.
